At AICamp, we're committed to enabling seamless AI adoption across entire organizations. As our platform grows, so do the needs of our customers. One of the most important shifts we’re making to better serve you is moving from Teams to Groups. This transition isn’t just a structural change—it’s a significant leap forward for flexibility, collaboration, and AI resource management.
Why This Change?
Our mission is to enable company-wide AI adoption in a structured, secure, and scalable way. Previously, AI resources in AICamp were shared under dedicated Teams. While this worked for many, it came with limitations:
- Teams couldn't easily share certain resources with individuals or smaller groups.
- Larger organizations needed more granular control over AI resource allocation.
- Scaling AI across departments required a more flexible sharing model.
To address these challenges, we’re transitioning from Teams to Groups, offering more customization, better resource sharing, and an improved collaboration experience.
What’s Changing?
Automatic Migration to Groups
- All Teams will be automatically converted into Groups—no action required from your side.
- All existing resources (Assistants, Prompt Libraries, and Saved Chats) will be shared within their respective Groups.
More Control & Flexibility
- You can now share Assistants with:
- The entire workspace
- Individual members
- Specific groups of members
- AI models can now be shared at different levels:
- With all workspace members
- With specific individuals
- With specific groups
This means that whether you're rolling out AI assistance across your entire company or testing it with a select group, you now have complete control over access and usage.
Release Date & Downtime
Sunday, February 3rd at 10 PM PST
Expected downtime: 20 minutes for maintenance
We’ve designed this transition to be smooth, and our team will be monitoring the process closely to ensure minimal disruption.
