Read the AICamp Privacy and Policy
Your privacy is critically important to us. At AICamp, we have a few fundamental principles:
This Privacy Policy applies to information that we collect about you when you use:
Throughout this Privacy Policy we’ll refer to our websites, applications, and other products and services collectively as “Services.” This Privacy Policy is based on the Automattic Privacy Policy and available under a Creative Commons Sharealike license. You’re more than welcome to copy it, adapt it, and repurpose it for your own use. Just make sure to revise the language so that your policy reflects your actual practices. If you do use it, we’d appreciate a credit and link to us somewhere on your site.
We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so — for example, to provide our Services, to communicate with you, or to make our Services better. We collect this information from three sources: if and when you provide information to us, automatically through operating our Services, and from outside sources. Let’s go over the information that we collect.
It’s probably no surprise that we collect information that you provide to us directly. Here are some examples:
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
We also collect some information automatically:
2.3 Information We Collect from Other Sources
We may also get information about you from other sources. For example:
3.1 Purposes for Using Information
We use information about you for the purposes listed below:
3.2 How we store your information
we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is secure. We store your information in accordance with our stringent data protection protocols designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
We employ a variety of security measures, including encryption and authentication tools, to maintain the safety of your personal information. Data is stored for as long as necessary to provide you with the services you have requested or for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our policies.
we understand the critical importance of securing API keys, which serve as unique identifiers and secrets that grant access to various services and resources. To ensure the utmost security of these sensitive keys, we have employed the use of Supabase Vault, a state-of-the-art storage system specifically designed for the secure handling of confidential credentials.
When you entrust us with your API keys, they are securely stored in the Supabase Vault, which provides robust encryption to safeguard against unauthorized access and breaches. The Vault is engineered with multiple layers of security to guard your keys, with strict access controls that ensure only authorized personnel within AICamp may retrieve them when necessary for the delivery of our services.
We do not intentionally collect "Sensitive Personal Information", such as personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation. If you choose to store any Sensitive Personal Information on our servers, you are responsible for complying with any regulatory controls regarding that data.
We do not intentionally collect personal information that is stored in your workspaces or other content. Any personal information within a user's workspace or content is the responsibility of the workspace owner.
4.1 Legal Bases for Collecting and Using Information
A note here for those in the European Union about our legal grounds for processing information about you under EU data protection laws, which is that our use of your information is based on the grounds that:
(1) The use is necessary in order to fulfill our commitments to you under the applicable terms of service or other agreements with you or is necessary to administer your account; for example, in order to enable access to our website on your device or charge you for a paid plan; or
(2) The use is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation; or
(3) The use is necessary in order to protect your vital interests or those of another person; or
(4) We have a legitimate interest in using your information — for example, to provide and update our Services; to improve our Services so that we can offer you an even better user experience; to safeguard our Services; to communicate with you; to measure, gauge, and improve the effectiveness of our advertising; and to understand our user retention and attrition; to monitor and prevent any problems with our Services; and to personalize your experience; or
(5) You have given us your consent
5.1 Disclosure to third parties
We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents (“third parties“) who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will also not share your personal information with any organization apart from us
5.2 Links to Third Party Sites
The Services may include links that direct you to other websites or services whose privacy practices may differ from ours. If you submit information to any of those third party sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies, not this one. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
We have a policy that we do not and will never sell our users’ data. We aren’t a data broker, we don’t sell your personal information to data brokers, and we don’t sell your information to other companies that want to spam you with marketing emails.
5.3 Other important information:
5.6 How Long We Keep Information
We generally discard information about you when it’s no longer needed for the purposes for which we collect and use it — described in the section above on How and Why We Use Information — and we’re not legally required to keep it.
Access and update your information: You can update certain information about your account from the application directly.
Deleting your account and information: You’ve all rights to delete your information by yourself from the application itself. You can learn more from the documentation.
Requesting us to stop using your account: In some cases, you request us to stop using your account and information but when your account is associated with organizations (that you part of in past) then it’s their privacy policy on how long they use information. But if the account is only created with your permission, we will stop using your information with your consent. This may take some time to investigate and facilitate the request. If your information is shared with third parties, please disable the integration to remove the access.
While no online service is 100% secure, we work very hard to protect information about you against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction, and take reasonable measures to do so. We monitor our Services for potential vulnerabilities and attacks.
The responsible party for the data processing described in this privacy policy is AICamp Inc, USA. You can reach us at [email protected].
Although most changes are likely to be minor, we may change our Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the change log below, and, in some cases, we may provide additional notice (like adding a statement to our blog or sending you a notification through email). Your further use of the Services after a change to our Privacy Policy will be subject to the updated policy.
Our Privacy Policy was originally written in English. We may translate it into other languages. In the event of a conflict between a translated version of our Privacy Policy and the English version, the English version will control.
