We’ve spent July making AICamp’s core smarter and sharper — not by adding shiny features for the sake of it, but by improving how your AI agents actually work with your real-world data.
This update is all about giving you more control, better accuracy, and smoother day-to-day usage across the platform.
Let’s dive in.
1. Smarter File Processing Across the Platform
You’ll now notice faster, more stable file handling everywhere — whether you’re uploading to a chat, a project, or directly into an agent.
No more stalled uploads. No weird formats failing silently.
Just smooth, reliable ingestion — so your agents can get to work faster.
2. OCR Support for Agents
You can now enable OCR (Optical Character Recognition) while creating an agent. This means your agents can extract text from:
- Scanned PDFs
- Image-based invoices or forms
- Any messy visual document
This is a game-changer for teams working with physical paperwork or legacy systems. Your agent can now parse that too — automatically.

3. Strict Knowledgebase Mode
Sometimes, you don’t want creativity — you want precision. With the new “Answer only from uploaded files or connected knowledgebase” setting, your agent won’t hallucinate or guess.
It will only respond based on the context you’ve provided.
This is especially useful for regulated workflows, compliance-heavy teams, and scenarios where trust in output really matters.
4. Expanded File Support
We’ve added support for a wide range of file formats across AICamp. Here’s what you can upload and work with:
Documents.pdf
, .doc
, .docx
, .odt
, .txt
, .md
, .epub
Spreadsheets.xls
, .xlsx
, .ods
, .csv
Presentations.ppt
, .pptx
, .odp
Structured Data.json
Whatever format your team is using, chances are — we support it.

All updates are documented in our Help Center, including:

- When to use strict knowledgebase mode

Why This Matters
These updates weren’t just shipped to check boxes. They were built from direct customer feedback.
- Teams wanted faster workflows → we improved file processing.
- Teams needed more data accuracy → we added strict mode.
- Teams struggled with scanned docs → we enabled OCR.
- Teams used many formats → we expanded support.
And this is just the start. We’re building AICamp to help you move beyond experimentation — and into scalable, day-to-day AI usage across your team.
